For current members

To maintain your MDRT membership, you’ll need to meet the annual production requirement, which can be reported as premium, commission, or income. Encourage colleagues who are eligible to renew early to continue accessing the connections and resources that make MDRT unique.

For prospective members

If you’re ready to join the MDRT community, we look forward to welcoming you. Submit your qualifying production—reported as premium, commission, or income—through the MDRT application form once enrollment opens.

What is the size of EDGE? MDRT EDGE hosts around 500+ attendees, providing a perfect opportunity for more intimate networking with your peers.

Who should attend? MDRT EDGE is encouraged for all members in the U.S. and Canada. Mid- and early-career members, including those building and working on their businesses may get a particular benefit from being around top performers at MDRT. And all attendees have the option to register a business partner.

Where and when is MDRT EDGE? EDGE takes places in a U.S. or Canadian city.

What is the format for MDRT EDGE? MDRT EDGE includes a mix of interactive workshops, keynotes from industry leaders, peer group touchpoints, workshop debriefs and a book club event featuring a renowned author — all anchored by a guided workbook to spark discussion and goal setting.

What topics are covered? Topics covered include business growth and efficiency, client advising strategies, practice management, marketing and branding, and balancing professional success with personal well-being.

Are there any takeaways from the event? Each participant will leave with an MDRT EDGE workbook that you use to create a structured business plan and goals with feedback from a curated MDRT peer group.

How clients feel about their advisor’s use of AI

MDRT has conducted a new survey to gain insights into clients’ expectations when it comes to their advisors use of AI. Here are a few key insights:   

  • 70.8% of U.S. consumers who have a financial advisor believe advisors should use AI for at least one professional purpose—compared with 53.4% of those without an advisor.  
  • Men—both with and without advisors—are significantly more comfortable with advisors AI use than women.  
  • Clients are most comfortable with AI being used for smaller, supportive tasks, rather than core relationship or planning functions.

Open enrollment for 2025 MDRT membership is now available. Submit applications or production for new or returning MDRT members. Apply or remind your advisors to apply for 2025 membership by March 1, 2025, to avoid the USD 200 late fee.

MDRT announces 2026 production requirements

The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is pleased to announce the requirements for 2026 MDRT membership, based on 2025 production.

What is new in 2024 for the MDRT EDGE

Bring a business partner

MDRT members are eligible to bring a business partner to MDRT EDGE. Together, they will learn, create strategies to develop their practice and implement the innovative ideas gained from MDRT EDGE into their business operations. Consider who is essential to help run your business effectively.

Recommended guests: 

  • Personal company chief officer (CFO, CMO, COO)
  • Business partner
  • Marketing lead
  • Office manager

The guest must be integral to your business and work in the U.S. or Canada. They will have access to the entire event and can participate in Peer Groups if you opt-in during registration. Guests cannot be MDRT Academy or MDRT Center for Field Leadership members. Member and guest fees are the same, with a limit of one guest per MDRT member attendee.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share the MDRT EDGE experience with someone crucial to your business success. Don’t miss out on this chance to grow and succeed together.

MDRT Academy and MDRT Center for Field Leadership are welcome

MDRT Academy and MDRT Center members from the U.S. and Canada are eligible to attend the 2024 MDRT EDGE. Academy and Center members will have access to the entire event. They are not eligible to bring a guest.
